The Society for the Diffusion of Useful Information is very pleased to announce an evening of Jewish music from Romania and Moldova performed by Lulu Starr & Joshua Kaufman at The Museum of Jurassic Technology.

Lulu Starr (fiddle) is an active member of numerous groups across the globe and has studied at length with the violinists of Taraf de Haïdouks.

 

Joshua  Kaufman (accordion) co-founded & performs with the Petrojvic Blasting Company and The Cory Beers Cimbalom Band.

 

Both Lulu and Joshua have extensively studied Romanian music, both have made pilgrimages to Clejani, & both enjoy traveling & playing together as much as possible.
