Eternally frozen in a mass of solid crystal is this illusion of a Myotis Lucifugus in flight. Also known as a Deprong Mori, this remarkable creature is well-documented in the exhibition, Bernard Maston, Donald R. Griffith, and the Deprong Mori of the Tripsicum Plateau. The history of its discovery spans two centuries and involves what was for many years a highly controversial hypothesis that entwined the research of two very different scientists. More information on this exhibit from the Museum's Foundation Collection can be found here.
The Crystal Cube comes with an LED base; batteries not included.
