Inspired by traditional Russian ceramic design and ornament from both Czarist and Soviet periods, this delicate and unique cup and saucer set has been designed in-house at the Museum of Jurassic Technology. The decals have been carefully screen-printed in Stoke-on-Trent, England (a city known for its long and prolific tradition of pottery manufacturing) and then fired on-site onto deadstock Czech ceramic. The tea set commemorates the Museum’s Tula Tea Room, which is printed both in English and Russian around the edge of the saucer. The blue saucer features an illustration of a courtyard dove in the center ring, while the gold varietal pays homage to the tea room’s namesake: a beloved Borzoi dog named Tula. This limited edition cup and saucer set is the perfect size for a cup of afternoon tea, best enjoyed, in traditional fashion, brewed strongly and served with a cube of sugar.
Please note that the gold set is printed with genuine gold, which is indicated in the price difference between varietals
Decals are printed with food-safe ink. Kindly hand wash our ceramic ware and refrain from using in the microwave.
