The North American counterpart to the South American crab-eating fox (Cerdocyon thous). This fox is small, about 38 cm (plus tail), weighs about 3 1/4 pounds (1.5 kg), has strikingly beautiful coloration, and usually mates for life. The crab-eating fox belies its name by feeding primarily on insects and vegetable matter.

This fox head pin is a miniature version of the Museum display, Voice of the American Grey Fox. Wear the pin close enough, and you may be able to hear the sounds this North American fox makes.

Pin has a clutch pin back and measures approx. 0.5 inch in length.
