The Society for the Diffusion of Useful Information is very pleased to announce Kosmos: Russian space flights of the imagination from Tsiolkovsky to Klushantsev, a lecture by Dr. Olesya Turkina.

Dr. Olesya Turkina is a curator and writer--most recently of the book Soviet Space Dogs. She is a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Contemporary Art at the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg and a member of the Russian Space Federation. An esteemed collaborator of The Museum of Jurassic Technology for nearly two decades, Dr. Turkina played an essential role, both in front of and behind the camera, in the making of the Museum's Chain of Flowers film series shown in The Museum's Borzoi Kabinet theater.

 Please note the venue: Dr. Turkina will be speaking at The Velaslavasay Panorama and not at The Museum of Jurassic Technology.
