Plaster cast of a limestone relief from the Upper Temple of the funerary complex of Userkaf - Egypt, 5th Dynasty. Birds identified as Sacred Ibis, Pied Kingfisher, Night Heron, Purple Gallinule, Striped hoopoe, and European Kingfisher.
Measures approximately 11 x 9.75-inches.
This beautiful plaque is produced by a revival workshop in Bath, England and each piece is hand cast and finished by a team of craftsmen using traditional methods and the finest British Gypsum plaster.
