The Planet Mars.
Observed September 3, 1877, at 11h. 55m. P.M.

The luminous illustration on this print is reproduced from one of Étienne Léopold Trouvelot's original lithographs, a selection of which are on display at the Museum of Jurassic Technology as part of the exhibit, Scrupulous Fidelity: The Astrophysical Illustration of Étienne Léopold Trouvelot. The image, which measures approximately 7 x 10-inches, is printed on lightly textured, archival-quality velvet fine art paper, and comes with an 11 x 14-inch dark ash mat and archival backing board.
