The performers:
John Bilezikjian is an Oud virtuoso whose repertoire includes folksong in 11 languages. He has given a command performance for King Juan Carlos I & Queen Sofia of Spain, & performed as a soloist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. He accompanied Leonard Cohen on his "LIVE" world tour.

Accordionist Barry Fisher heads "Ellis Island," Los Angeles’s oldest klezmer band, & is known for his multi-ethnic folk music collaborations with Romani (so-called Gypsy), Mexican, & Eastern European performers.

John and Barry’s friendship dates back to the early 1960s, & they have performed together in circumstances as varied as providing incidental music for vegetable-picking and playing for a two day wedding in a 13th-century Umbrian villa.
